PB Cosmetology Education Centre is a family-owned, NAACAS accredited cosmetology center that has been inspiring and educating the future of the beauty industry since 1960.
The husband and wife team of Peg and Bob (PB) Hogan founded PB Method of Hair Design in 1960. After working together for over 25 years, their small nail and cosmetology school flourished. Today, the school, now PB Cosmetology Education Centre, remains a family business under the direction of Peg and Bob’s granddaughter, Colleen Hogan.
Nail Technology can be exciting, fulfilling and a highly creative choice for a career. Students choosing the Expertise Cosmetology Institute Nail Technology Program receive approximately six hundred (600) hours (18 weeks) of instruction in combined theory and practical application.Â
This course covers the overall subject of manicure and pedicure.
Our instructors are dedicated to helping students learn the art and science of nail design, acrylic, solar tips, forms, and gels, and more. Nail tech students learn to shape, file, color and paint nails, as well as perform full professional manicures and pedicures.
Beauty Business employers are seeking Nail Tech licensed professionals and it continues to boom. If you are artistically inclined and enjoy building client relationships, our Manicurist program could lead to a stable and satisfying career.
Currently offered in our Philadelphia, Stroudsburg and Allentown locations, the Nail Technician program is a 200-hour course that focuses on design techniques, safety, product knowledge, career-building skills, and State Board Exam preparation.
