This 3-day course provides an overview on non-destructive inspection methods & technologies, for the detection and evaluation of flaws in composite and bonded structures.
The applications of mechanical impedance tests, conventional ultrasonic and infrared thermography will be demonstrated and their imitations in the inspection of composite materials will be examined.
Trainees will fabricate Carbon, Glass and Aramid fiber panels with built-in flaws which will then be used for testing and characterization of the flaws.Topics covered in this 3-day course include:

Registered Trainees should have prior experience and training in Ultrasonic NDT technologies.
