NDIS classes are held in Fiona's home studio. Classes are one on one and run for approximately 1.5 hours (negotiable). Morning / Afternoon tea supplied. Students work on a range of projects suited to their abilities and interests.
DurationNDIS classes are held in Fiona's home studio. Classes are one on one and run for approximately 1.5 hours (negotiable). Morning / Afternoon tea supplied. Students work on a range of projects suited to their abilities and interests. The studio offers a wide range of activities such as painting.
Animals may also be incorporated into the session for additional therapeutic benefits. Fiona has chickens, ducks, hopping mice, various lizards, cats, frogs and sugar gliders.
Classes are a set price of $75 per hour. All materials included.

Art has been shown to benefit people of all ages. Research indicates art can improve communication and concentration and can help reduce feelings of isolation.
Therapeutic Art Classes has also been shown to lead to increases in self-esteem, confidence, and self-awareness. Fiona's art sessions at Sunnyside Art House are one on one allowing students to have Fiona's full attention.
Each art activity is chosen by the student as it is important that the student is doing something that they enjoy and find relaxing. There are no wrong ways in art and Fiona encourages students.
To try new things and enjoy the process of making rather than concentrating on the end result. There are many art activities to choose from including Pottery, Mosaic, Painting (acrylics & watercolour), Textiles and Drawing.
First, you’ll learn about sketching basics and simplifying objects, learning to view them clearly in their essential parts. Then we’ll move through shading techniques to create dimension and proportions.
A program specifically designed to develop drawing techniques and skill. Students will learn to draw using techniques such as perspective, light, shading, texture and shapes.
Painting Lessons are offered by Dance & Art Centre for all ages and abilities. Discover the Art of painting starting with the simplest of objects, learn how to create depth and form, gain confidence to tackle more complex compositions and eventually make your own abstract paintings.
Abstract Figure Painting in Acrylic with Svetlana Trefilova will teach students how to create abstract human figure using different techniques such as traditional acrylic painting, negative space painting, lifting and loosing up method.
Art 4 Ages has been providing Art classes for kids, teens and Adults in Brisbane since 2000.
