NDIS classes are held in Fiona's home studio. Classes are one on one and run for approximately 1.5 hours (negotiable). Morning / Afternoon tea supplied. Students work on a range of projects suited to their abilities and interests.
NDIS classes are held in Fiona's home studio. Classes are one on one and run for approximately 1.5 hours (negotiable). Morning / Afternoon tea supplied. Students work on a range of projects suited to their abilities and interests. The studio offers a wide range of activities such as painting.
Animals may also be incorporated into the session for additional therapeutic benefits. Fiona has chickens, ducks, hopping mice, various lizards, cats, frogs and sugar gliders.
Classes are a set price of $75 per hour. All materials included.

Art has been shown to benefit people of all ages. Research indicates art can improve communication and concentration and can help reduce feelings of isolation.
Therapeutic Art Classes has also been shown to lead to increases in self-esteem, confidence, and self-awareness. Fiona's art sessions at Sunnyside Art House are one on one allowing students to have Fiona's full attention.
Each art activity is chosen by the student as it is important that the student is doing something that they enjoy and find relaxing. There are no wrong ways in art and Fiona encourages students.
To try new things and enjoy the process of making rather than concentrating on the end result. There are many art activities to choose from including Pottery, Mosaic, Painting (acrylics & watercolour), Textiles and Drawing.
Learn how to draw illustrated scenes inspired by the style of Julia Sarda, from classic children’s stories such as: The Secret Garden, Anne of Green Gables, The Borrowers, Oliver Twist and The Hobbit. Listen to a small part of each story as you colour in your art.
Shadow Sketch and Oil Painting lessons are offered by Dance & Art Centre. Discover the Art of painting starting with the simplest of objects, learn how to create depth and form, gain confidence to tackle more complex compositions and eventually make your own abstract paintings.
