The aim of the malaysian postgraduate training programme in radiology is two-fold; firstly, to produce a radiologist who is able to provide safe and effective diagnostic support in the generality of the discipline on day 1 of their consultant practice and secondarily to enthusastically and urgently pursue the ongoing development of their knowledge and skills in sub specialty disciplines.
The Clinical Masters (Coursework and Dissertation) programme is offered by the department of Radiology. It is a four-year (8 semesters) programme. The maximum period allowed is 7 years (14 semesters). The coursework is conducted over the first 4 semesters, clinical apprenticeship through-out the 4 year programme and completion of dissertation in the last 4 semesters.
