Course Details

This 14-week Powerline Apprentice Program is designed to provide students with the basic skills needed to launch a career with electrical utilities and/or contractors in the area of underground and overhead line work.

Safety will be emphasized throughout the course. In addition, students will have the opportunity to earn certifications in First Aid/CPR, OSHA 10, flagger certification, competent Person in Trenching and Excavation, and a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) this course is registered for Pre-Apprenticeship by the NC Department of Commerce.

Training program is held at the Coastal Carolina Community College (CCCC) campus Monday-Friday from 0730-1630.
