Description
We all want to give interesting, effective and memorable presentations. Your main objective as a presenter is to deliver a message. Your presentation is your pitch.
To deliver that pitch perfectly, you need to borrow from a variety of fields; psychology, art & design, IT, politics and of course your own domain which is the subject of the presentation.
To deliver a great presentation you must use all of these domains, which means you must master the following:
Understand the psychology of your audience and prepare your message accordingly to appeal to their emotions and get maximum results.
Create a “wow” factor by using the latest IT tools and technology to put your ideas together and organise your content.
Appeal to the artistic side of your audience and design your presentation to look professional.
Deliver with confidence to show that you understand your own content and appear convincing.
Leave a long lasting positive effect on your audience so that they would never forget your message.

Our History
Skills Converged was founded in 2008 by Dr Ethan (Ehsan) Honary. With a background in artificial intelligence and space robotics, Ethan became increasingly interested in cognitive psychology, science of learning and eventually the training industry.
His interest and passion in the subject grew strong enough that he eventually decided to leave his full-time job in the space industry to establish a new training company.
Now for more than a decade, Skills Converged has been offering quality training products and services all across the world and has acquired numerous clients including global brands, governments, training agencies and freelancers.
With a background in technology, educational psychology and research, Skills Converged is uniquely positioned to produce state-of-the-art products which none of our competitors can match.
Based in London, we are right at the heart of the training industry in the United Kingdom. We regularly run training courses in London, our most popular one being Train the Trainer course.
We constantly analyse and receive feedback from the training community which allows us to improve the quality of our products rapidly and use this knowledge in the design of our future courses.
This is a continuous process, but one that we love to pursue and that it helps us produce unrivalled products.
The Pillars of Our Design Methodology
We use the following design principles:
Must Lead to Long Term Learning
A training course, delivered in whatever form, is not worth the time or money if attendees are not going to learn or remember the content for long. They might as well not attend.
In the last three decades, we have come a long way in understanding the role of long-term memory in cognition and subsequently in learning and training. We are enthusiastic about these developments and insights and use them throughout our entire design process.
Must Maximise Training Per Unit of Time
Time is a scarce resource. We use accelerated learning principles, experimental learning, knowledge-based learning, participatory learning, and a host of other techniques in the design of our training materials to make sure we can achieve maximum results in the shortest amount of time on any given topic.
Must Be Easy to Use
As a subject matter expert, you know the content well. When it comes to training, most of your focus, as much as 90%, should be on the training activity rather than figuring out what to teach.
We are aware of this principle and work hard to design training materials that are easy to pick up, understand and deliver. With well-designed content, you spend less time figuring out what to cover and more time on how to meet your delegates’ specific training needs. We always aim to save you time.
It is entirely skills focused and participants will have the opportunity to make a brief presentation (putting what you have learned into practice) and receive feedback in a constructive and safe environment. It is delivered by Helen Evans, Open University.
Effective presentation skills are essential at all levels within any organisation. This course will help develop the skills to confidently present to audiences of any size. Presenting your ideas, products or services with maximum impact is necessary for success.
The presentation Skills Training Program (Online 90 minutes) has been scheduled for 10 February 2023 at 2 PM (UK Time). To succeed in a highly competitive world you must know the art of presenting your thoughts and ideas effectively to become successful.
Inspire, inform and engage. Learn the skills to speak with impact so that clients, colleagues and teams leave meetings convinced by your ideas and motivated towards your goals.
The answer to this is that many organisations assume this to be a fact, but in essence, if your trainer isn’t equipped with the knowledge of how to capture their learner’s attention and motivation but adopting the correct communication, presentation, intonation, and interactive training skills ...
