Creo elements:ptc’s products formerly known as pro/engineer, co-create, and productview. Creo is a computer aided design software which support product design for discrete manufacturers and is developed by ptc. Ptc began developing creo in 2009, and announced it using the code name project lightning at planet ptc live, in las vegas, in june 2010. In october 2010, ptc unveiled the product name for project lightning to be creo. Ptc released creo 1. 0 in june 2011. Stable release of creo 7. 0 april 14, 2020.

Pro/engineer and wildfire, is a solid modeling or cad, cam, cae, and associative 3d modeling application, running on microsoft windows. Which provide collaborative solid modeling, assembly modeling, 2d orthographic views, finite element analysis, parametric modeling, sub-divisional and nurbs surface modeling, drafting, and nc and tooling functionality for mechanical designers.

Latest Updates: New Release –Creo Element version 7.0. As part of PTC corporation commitment to deliver new designs more frequently, this version adds great new functionality to improve efficiency for engineers around the world and has resolved numerous issues that have been reported and thus highly recommend that you look to adopt this version and improve your working experience.

The principal developments and enhancements that are delivered in this new version of Creo Element are:

  1. Creating the models or design of the most innovative products faster than ever before. Keeping you on the cutting edge of product design and ahead of your competition.
  2. Generative design software autonomously creates optimal design from a set of systems design requirements. Engineers can interactively specify their requirements and goals, including preferred materials and manufacturing processes—and the generative engine will automatically produce a manufacture—ready design as a starting point or as a final solution. As a result, engineers can interact with technology to create superior designs and drive product innovation more quickly.
  3. Looking to take your product designs to the next level, with faster time to market and greater innovation? Creo generative designs create optimized product designs with the power of the cloud.
  4. Simultaneously explore numerous innovation design option, with top options automatically highlighted. Generative design automatically delivers high-quality, lower-cost, manufacturable design, all within the Creo design environment. Deliver your best designs in less time with Creo.
  5. Creo generative topology optimization extension (GTO) and cloud-based generative design extensions (GDS) help you optimize product design based on your constraints and requirements —including materials and manufacturing processes. With GTO, you can rapidly explore innovative design options to reduce development time and expenses, all within the Creo environment.

Career Opportunities:

Design is the heart of any process, an idea that begins in the mind of an engineer is then translated onto a paper and from there it is fed into software, a long taxing process at the end of which something brand new is brought forth into the world.

Great new functionality to improve efficiency for engineers around the world and has resolved numerous issues that have been reported and thus highly recommend that you look to adopt Creo parametric and improve your working experience

After learning Creo, will get opportunities to work in automotive, production companies
