Makeup Veteran Terri Tomlinson provides Professional Level training to anyone who is interested in a career as a makeup artist. MTA classes help you develop the skills and techniques needed to work in all makeup mediums.

This includes makeup for Production (video, film, Television, photography) to Bridal, Runway, Editorial and Special Event/Red Carpet.

Firstly, Makeup Training Academy focuses on beauty makeup. This is makeup that enhances the face, in contrast to character or FX makeup. MTA enables students to create makeup on any skin tone and any face for any medium.

Our classes rely on color theory, light theory, application, technique, sanitation, product knowledge and creativity. All of which are very much needed to work as a makeup artist in any field.
