Our reflexology training program provides an excellent introduction to bodywork and gives students a good grounding on using reflex points located on the feet to help balance various glands, organs and parts of the body.
This Reflexology Therapist Certification Program is also approved for CEU’s by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Reflexology is known to reduce tension and stress, improve circulation and to help the body return to homeostasis or its’ natural balance.
Reflexology is also one of the best therapies for stress relief. Once students are introduced to this form of bodywork they often go on to further their education by adding other modalities.
Certified Reflexologist Instructor / Practitioner Sandy Rankin
The reflexology training program is taught by Sandy Rankin, a certified instructor and practitioner with more than 25 years of teaching experience.
Sandy founded her first school of natural therapies, Aromatica, in 1996 in Windsor, and later moved the school to the Bruce Peninsula. Wanting to return to Windsor she later sold Aromatica and founded Aliphatic Ambrosia, a well respected school of Natural Therapies.
Sandy held positions as Education Chair in the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC) where she helped create the Hand Reflexology Certification Manual. Recently she was presented with an Excellence in Teaching Award by RAC.
Reflexology Therapist Training Curriculum
This certification program covers anatomy & physiology, history of Reflexology, benefits, zone & meridian therapy, client documentation, reflexology techniques & methodology, business and marketing.
The theory portion is done by correspondence; the in-class training focuses on the hands-on portion, with students learning the specific techniques to give a full one-hour therapeutic reflexology session.
The Reflexology Training Manual and Anatomy Manual includes a Study Guide for both sections. The in-class training in Windsor consists of 4 days of classes, and focuses on the hands-on reflexology practical techniques. Students also have the option of a 3 hour study day.
Home Study Component
The Anatomy-Physiology and Reflexology theory is done by correspondence with students studying at home using their study guides. Home study accredits the student with hours of study time which includes the Anatomy/Physiology & Pathology, plus Reflexology home-study questions.

Upon successful completion of this training, the student receives a diploma as a “Certified Reflexology Therapist”, and can apply for professional membership with the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC) and their registered designation – Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist (RCRT).
Admissions Requirement
Minimum 18 years old and a high school diploma or equivalent (mature student).
Tuition:
Tuition for the Reflexology Therapist Certification Program is $1,400.00, which includes the Reflexology Manual, Anatomy Manual with study guides & all exam fees.
Registration Fee:
$200.00 (non-refundable deposit). Balance of Payment of $1200.00 is due on/before the first day of class.
Examinations
There is one Written Exam plus a Practical Exam. Students are also required to complete 50 clinicals with documentation.
After successful completion of the written exam, clinicals and a practical exam, the student will receive their diploma as a Certified Reflexology Therapist and can apply to RAC for professional membership and their RCRT Designation (Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist). Passing grade for both exams is 80%.
