This is a 300-hour diploma course learning foot reflexology with in-class hours, home study, theory & practical examinations (and 60 hours of case studies).
Course Content Will Include:
Theory – The holistic approach, history of Reflexology, structure of feet, disorders and conditions of the feet, reactions to treatment, theories and concept of reflex zones and their functions, effects of stress on the body and how reflexology can help, methods of client consultation, clinical pathology, contraindications to treatment, appropriate client care, referral procedures
Practical - reading of the feet, interpreting the reflexes, learning to perform different reflexology techniques and explain a complete reflexology treatment.Home Study – There is a minimum of 100 hours of home study/assignments to be completed.
Examinations – Students will attend 1 further day of a two-hour written and a one-hour practical examination.Case studies – Students will be expected to complete a total of 60 hours of treatments on clients.
Each client must have a minimum of 6 treatments and a full case study and evaluation will be written up and presented before certification.
