Born in Seattle by local architects and artists passionate about children’s education and creative play, BEAM Experiences offers hands-on guided learning for grades 1-8.
Our curriculum is STEAM based (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) with a focus on creativity, exploration and experimentation.
The course content explores the use of various online tools and apps and makes suggestions for best use. What’s more, it provides you with access to curated content that includes blogs, books, and videos that can extend your learning.
For beginners, we work hard to create a solid foundation in fundamental coding knowledge. This includes introductions to logical thinking, problem-solving, and sequential coding. We use programming languages.
Robotics This week long summer robotics is designed for boys & girls 10 years and older, and requires no previous programming/coding experience. Students will learn basic coding fundamentals using ready-made blocks and develop problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Object-oriented programming, as the name implies, uses "objects" (data structures consisting of methods and data fields together with their interactions) to design computer programs and applications.
2D Game Design with Python Pygame use the real Python Pygame editor. Students needs to typing every words. This course is suitable for the kids over 10 years old and have basic Python knowledge.
