Pursuing diverse opportunities in the Hospitality and Tourism sector is becoming easier with the introduction of a common first year for students enrolled in our one-year certificate program and two-year diploma programs.
All students will now take the same courses in year one, so you can experience various disciplines of Hospitality and Tourism before deciding on an area of specialization.
For some students, it can be hard to know what area of the hospitality or tourism industry you want to focus on without first-hand knowledge and experience.
With a common first year, if you decide that the program you are enrolled in is not the best fit you will have the option to move to a different program without having to take new courses – so you won’t lose any time.
The George Brown College Foundation, established in 1984, is a separately incorporated registered charity that serves as the primary fundraising vehicle for George Brown College.
The Foundation is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors who support the College’s mandate of increasing access to education by raising money to support student success through scholarships, bursaries and awards.
Together with the college, we work to advance George Brown’s commitment to excellence in teaching, applied learning and innovation, as well as its commitment to access, diversity and mutual respect.
Together with our donors, we work to ensure that no student is denied a post-secondary education at George Brown College because of financial constraints.

Travel the world with a career in hotel management! Fanshawe College’s Hospitality - Hotel and Resort Services Management program focuses on hotel administration and operations with hands-on experiences in hotel and resort management at our London Downtown Campus.
The Hospitality Management program is a 2-year program that will help you foster skills and abilities required to work in the hospitality industry.
The first Applied Bachelor’s degree in Management to be offered in Québec, this training course focussed on hospitality, customer experience and employee experience will allow you to develop both interpersonal and operational skills.
The four-year Bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism Management (Honours) (Co-op) degree program prepares you for supervisory and management careers within the dynamic hospitality and tourism industry. The program gives you a solid knowledge of hospitality and tourism business operations, coupled with
VIU offers a four-year Bachelor of Hospitality Management degree. Students have the option to exit with the Hospitality Management diploma after two years, or go on to complete the additional two years to graduate with the Bachelor of Hospitality Management degree.
