DurationEducateFirst recognises that there remains an unmet need for educational support for many children and is working to try and help various communities tackle this issue. Our community-based learning initiative comprises tutoring projects and programmes designed to help provide additional educational support to children outside of school.
This support is provided in the form of weekend tuition classes offering a series of educational programmes focusing on Maths, English and Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) for children up to GCSE level (KS4). Special classes also focus on SATs revision and preparation courses for children in Years 2 and 6.
Based on the National Curriculum for each Key Stage, these special programmes have proven to improve children’s numeracy and literacy skills, and help them develop a sound understanding of topics related to science.
Each class is for 1 hour and children may attend either one, two or all three subjects, depending on the subject(s) in which support is required. Children are taught in small groups together with an element of one-to-one interaction with the tutor. Our tutors will explore each child’s learning needs and help them achieve the most out of each tutoring session.
The majority of our tutors are qualified teachers who can help your child with general school work, coursework, individual skills assessments as well as exam preparation and revision techniques.
The interactive learning formats applied in our classes are an effective way of learning and help children develop core skills and enhance these to a more advanced level. Children with learning difficulties, special educational needs (SEN), dyslexia and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) can also benefit from this form of tuition.

Our Community Project
EducateFirst recognised an unmet need for educational support for children within local communities. In 2009, working with local teachers, we founded and pioneered a community-based learning initiative, offering an affordable and accessible tutoring service for local school children, regardless of their religion, faith, ethnicity or background.
This not-for-profit tutoring service is part of our ongoing commitment to help meet the educational needs and wishes of children and their families across communities.
To our knowledge, we are the only UK establishment offering this much-needed service in the absence of any grant or funding. This is what makes us different to other companies that are usually profit driven.
This unique service has established our place in the education industry and allowed us to make a distinctive and substantial positive impact on our students, their education and career prospects.
Our team of dedicated and experienced tutors continues to support hundreds of students every week. Our offices are currently located in Leeds with learning centres across West Yorkshire, including Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield.
Science Tuition is offered by R P Tuition. I am also able to offer GCSE sciences (physics, chemistry and biology) for AQA. My experience enables me to very quickly identify your strengths which I would try to build on and weaknesses which I would help you to eliminate.

Science Tuition is offered by Intuition Centre. The Intuition Centre provides Maths, English and Science tuition for children aged 8 to 19 years. This includes GCSE tuition and A level tuition.
GCSE study in the sciences provides the foundations for understanding the material world. A grade 4 in GCSE science in Manchester is a requirement if learners wish to excel onto higher education courses and carers. Especially if those such careers involve science, teaching and nursing.
