During our SetReady course you will work in your chosen field, learn from respected industry professionals and meet with like-minded individuals to write and produce your own original short film. Your film will then be screened in front of your peers, family and friends at ODEON.

The National Youth Film Academy is the leading membership organisation for young people in film. Founded in 2011 our mission is to Locate, Nurture and Promote the very best young talent in film.
We host a variety of online and in person events throughout the year, including the the National Youth Film Awards ceremony in which is run in December.
We partner and collaborate with a number of leading industry bodies to ensure that our members have the best foundation possible to succeed in film.
Film Developing course learn how to develop film and make contact sheets and make darkroom prints, then this course is for you. Learn how to manipulate film in the darkroom and make Hand made contact sheets and prints.
Participants on Make a Film in a Day courses are given an overview of the whole filmmaking process from EUREKA!, through to ACTION! to IT’S A WRAP! Working in teams, these young filmmakers work against the clock to plan, storyboard, shoot, act and edit their film.
Our dedicated film tutor has experience teaching many students. We offer a free taster lesson to all new students and the the opportunity to come in to practice with our facilities during the week for all students.
In four weeks, you will take a film project from script to screen, gaining a comprehensive and invaluable grounding in the essential filmmaking principles.
You will work on a number of short films, and take on at least one key role as a screenwriter, director, producer or cinematographer. The course is hosted by the team behind the world famous Raindance Film Festival in the heart of London, and is delivered by some of the industry’s top tutors.
