With over 35 years’ experience, Julie complements her business by conducting tuition for small groups with a maximum of 6 students per class.
You would love to make a quilt and/or sew with support and guidance in a caring community together. We're for the lovers of sewing, those that long to learn, quilt, sew and create together.
We provide informal sewing classes that can be booked for your preferred time and day of the week. We will be available to guide you with your sewing project. We encourage clients who enjoy either or both hand-sewing and machine sewing.
The PatchWorks conducts a number of quilt making classes throughout the year including a free tuition beginners quilt class for those who would love to make a quilt but don’t know where to start. We have three class terms and publish class lists prior to commencement of each term.
This introductory beginners sewing class will teach you all the basics to get you started on the sewing machine! You will learn the parts and features of a sewing machine, how to set up the machine, the different stitches, settings and seams and how to solve common sewing problems.
Become familiar with your sewing machine by learning about each part of your machine, how it works and how to maintain it. This is a single class specific to your machine, booking is essential.
