Momso fun informative sewing lessons for all sewing enthusiasts whether you are a beginner or wishing to brush up on your existing skills.
Over the last few years sewing and needlework have grown in popularity, making it accesible to the masses is my mission. When running workshops at the Centrepoint Homeless charity it was clear there was a need for sewing services, classes and workshops.
Our one-to-one tuition classes caters to all needs. Whether you are an absolute beginner interested in learning how to use a sewing machine or a more experienced sewer in search of sessions to refresh and develop your existing skills or complete a project, we can help.
Learn to make funky and practical changemats, bibs and bunting especially for your little one during the 4 x 2hr sessions. Quick and simple patterns. One-to-one tuition to guide you at this fun and creative workshop will enable you to make them again and again.
During this sewing course, you will learn sewing machine basics such as how to thread your machine, how to sew in a straight line and how to create a seam. There will be plenty of time for practice and step by step demonstrations throughout.
Come along with a simple item or garment you are currently making, adjusting or starting and that need help with. This is a continuous running class which you can book week to week where you can choose what you want to make and Pat will assist you making. Not suitable for beginners dressmaking.
Sewing classes are offered by Granton Goes Greener for all skill level. We run workshops and events throughout the year – although we are limited at the moment in what we can do. From litter picks to sewing classes – there’s something for everyone.
