Sew & Co covers everything from hand and machine sewing, embroidery, working with patterns, creating designs and mood boards, choosing fabrics and so much more!
Classes include mixed ages however with only 14 students per class projects are individually focused for beginner, intermediate or advanced levels of sewing. Projects are carefully considered for students so they can be proud of their completed projects at the end of each term. At Sew & Co students are encouraged to be conscious about clothing production and gain from the incredible value and reward of making their own creations.
These days screen time is normal, but kids still need a break. Allowing them a space to relax, be social and create gives them the balance of the online and offline world. Sew & Co and Chip & Co focus on mindfulness, creativity and fun!
Sew & Co and Chip & Co are educational programs bringing back a lost art for kids. Research shows creating or tending things by hand makes us happy. Our programs inspire happiness in kids through independence and creative freedom.
Both of our sewing and woodworking programs align with the Australian Curriculum and teach maths and literacy skills. The bonus of creating with us is that kids enjoy learning through a unique and exciting activity tailored just for them.
Sit & Sew classes are offered by Ballaarat Quilters Inc for all skill level. Our purpose to contribute to the knowledge of quilting techniques, textiles, patterns and quiltmakers through a variety of formats.
Sewing classes are offered by Design By B for all skill level. I want to spread the fun and joy of sewing and creativity, come learn the ins and outs of sewing, pattern cutting and more!
You will work through basic information on choosing a pattern, fabrics, cutting out and sewing. In this class you will make a pair of pull on pants (allow at least 2 classes) or a skirt with a zip (allow at least 3 classes).
This is a bit of fun! The Twisted Log Cabin is rotary cut and machine pieced using Foundation Piecing techniques. Not really suitable for the absolute beginner please.
Sewing classes are offered by Kharico for all ages and skill level. Dianne has used her teaching qualification and experience to set up a sewing school to enable those who wish to learn, an opportunity to explore the world of fashion and design.
