Celebrating our 46th anniversary during the 2021-2022 season, The Dance Refinery takes pride in refining the artistic talents of each of our students. Children and young adults are taught to value team work as well as personal self-expression and growth in all of our classes.
Our studio is known for its experienced teachers who truly care for their students and want to see them succeed, not only as performers but also as individuals.
To help ensure our students’ success and keep our studio running smoothly, we provide a parent/student handbook that familiarizes each of our families with our policies and procedures. We also use social media and publish a monthly newsletter to make our most up-to-date information readily available to all of our families.
For the serious singer ready to develop their voice, the best age to start are the pre-teen and teenage years. (12 years old and older). Voices are starting to change and develop into their "adult" sound
Voice lessons are tailored to the student’s vocal ability and individual interests. The method is flexible based on students' learning style. They are taught by experienced teachers who are highly trained professional musicians
Singing has always been part of every culture. From Choirs to Broadway musicals, pop and rock singers to shows like the Voice and American Idol our love for singing is part of being a human being
Voice Programs at Miami Fine Arts Academy are designed for students from 5 years old to adults. Young beginners (5 years old) are evaluated for readiness. Our voice classes include vocal warm ups, ear training exercises, and vocal repertoire from your favorite artists to classical arias
Our singing lessons teach breathing techniques, resonance, projection, presentation, and how to put that technique into practice. We find repertoire that is appropriate for the vocal range and personality of the singer.
