blended program 8 hours online learning followed by 7 hours teaching time. Or 13-14 hour program over two days, in person.
Recerification Course:
7.5 hours in class OR 4 hours in class plus 4 hours online learning.
We are authorized providers for the Canadian Red Cross, and Heart and Stroke.
Blended learning is available for Emergency and Standard First Aid courses. This would allow participants to complete the theoretical components online in their home/office.
Followed by in-class components that would build on the online learning by applying the knowledge learnt to do the hands-on skills.

The new BLS course is a video-based, Instructor-led course that teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.
This CPR course is the most comprehensive and detailed CPR course in Edmonton offered through Edmonton First Aid.
You will learn single- and multi-rescuer basic life support skills with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics in a wide variety of prehospital or in-facility settings. .
The course covers responding to an emergency; resuscitation for Adults, Children, and Infants; two-rescuer CPR for each all age groups; bag-valve mask use; and responding as part of a team.
Teaches the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, perform Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and perform rapid defibrillation including use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
