We offer a wide variety of performances for the public and artistic development opportunities for storytellers. Since 1982, TALES has operated as a non-profit organization. In 2007, TALES was awarded charitable status (#84585 8273 RR0001). We have chapters in Calgary, Edmonton and Strathcona.
Our Regular Events Include:

Storytellers of Canada – Conteurs du Canada is devoted to connecting people, reflecting culture, and inspiring learning and creativity through the art of storytelling.
This phase is about refining your speaking skills and becoming comfortable with sharing your own narratives.
This workshop offers an opportunity to learn a practical approach to storytelling; it will give you the tools to tell your unique and special stories.
Using a Trickster developed method, artists will work with classes on a picture prompt selected by you.
This course will introduce protocols surrounding a wide range of storytelling traditions as actionable concepts in addressing design problems.
Participants in the workshop will be educated on the psychology of stories, how to make moments memorable, and will be guided through several different storytelling methodologies.Â
