We opened our doors to ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) learners in January 1997 and since then we have become one of the largest ESOL centres in South Africa. Our learners benefit from a supportive one-on-one relationship with their tutors. Our classes develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills on a social, business or academic level. This course will prepare you for TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), which, along with IELTS, is one of the major standardised assessments used to gauge English language ability of non-native speakers.
The TOEFL iBT test measures your ability to use and understand English at the university level. And it evaluates how well you combine your listening, reading, speaking and writing skills to perform academic tasks.
The Test of English as a Foreign Language or TOEFL is used as an admission requirement for non-native English speakers at many English-speaking universities and colleges.
We focus on developing all four language skills in the lessons; Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing and strive to make our lessons interactive. At the end of your course, you will have to take several tests to ensure that you are ready to write the official examination.
TOEFL Preparation course is offered by ABC International South Africa for all skill level. ABC International provide students with the necessary English Language skills for essential living in the professional and academic world with a focus on Applied English.
