This interactive crane safety course is intended to remind participants that human error causes over 90% of crane-related accidents and they are the key to preventing these incidents.

While cranes come in a variety of shapes and sizes, they all have the ability to make many jobs much easier by lifting massive amounts of weight. However, when they are not operated safely, they both have the potential for disaster. Because of the cumbersome and heavy loads that are lifted, crane-related accidents are frequently fatal.

A small blunder or a brief lapse in concentration could result in tragedy. There is little that can be done to stop a load from falling, and there is little time for people to safely move out of the way. A co-worker could be hurt or killed, and valuable equipment or materials, including the crane, could be damaged or destroyed.

Who can take the crane operator training?

This crane operator course has been developed for those workers tasked with crane operation, and covers the knowledge needed by a worker to safely operate a variety of different crane types, including overhead, mobile, tower, and articulating cranes.
