This program is designed for companies that would like their own in-house trainers to deliver the OTEC's Service Excellence series of training workshops.

To address this issue, OTEC directs tourism and hospitality workforce development efforts across the province. In this capacity, OTEC leads Tourism SkillsNet Ontario an award-winning alliance of industry partners comprised of more than 120 organizations and 12 regions across Ontario - working collaboratively to align provincial workforce strategy with local industry-specific regional labour challenges. The first of its kind in Canada, Tourism SkillsNet Ontario leverages provincial collaboration and investment to tackle skills, labour and strategic challenges at the local level, offering customized solutions to address these challenges and to build an empowered, resilient and thriving industry.

This comprehensive WHMIS Instructor Certification program has been developed in accordance with the Federal Hazardous Products Act for the training of persons who manufacture, work with or are ‘in proximity to’ hazardous materials in the workplace.Â
Our powerful train the trainer workshops will transform your training and development progammes to effective, interactive learning experiences.
This five day course is very interactive and will provide the opportunity for participants to practice the knowledge and skills learned and to receive individual feedback.
Our 3-day train-the-trainer program is a cost-effective method to train groups of existing and new staff over the long term.
Participants will learn tips on how to engage an adult audience for the purposes of communication safety information at a site level and will practice presentation development and instruction skills using a toolbox talk format.
