I have been a teacher for over 20 years. I studied music in elementary, secondary, CEGEP and university. I learned the piano, the violin, the clarinet and the percussions.
I played chamber music, I was part of a few orchestras and harmonies including the Sherbrooke Youth Symphony Orchestra for years. I have performed for fashion shows, reunions, weddings, conferences, brunches, parties, masses, special events and more.
I love music and I love children. So I decided to specialize in teaching piano and violin to children. Adults are also welcome.
We offer lessons to all ages, from childhood music education, to adult beginner private music lessons in Oshawa and Durham Region
Whether a student is interested in a relaxed, fun approach to lessons and just wants to learn how to play their favourite music, or if they want to take a more serious, syllabus based approach, we cover it all.
Students of violin can begin their instruction as early as six years of age and as late as adulthood
Learning to play the violin not only comes with the benefit of learning it, but it also assists in developing other areas crucial to playing a range of musical instruments. These areas include rhythmic skills, finger dexterity, pitch recognition, and ear training.
