This course concentrates on providing high quality training to prepare students to perform hair removal services effectively, safely and efficiently. This course topics include anatomy of the hair, cycles of hair growth and most importantly the do’s and don’ts of proper hair removal.
Students are exposed to all types of wax used in modern day salons and spas including hard and soft wax, sugaring, roll on and various types of depilatories. Through practical hands on training, our instructors ensure each student understands the importance of following correct procedures for speed waxing. This includes client safety, product knowledge, tools, sterilization procedures, cross contamination and pre/post consultations.

This course is a combination of theory and practical. You will gain an understanding of the structure of the hair unit, different growth cycles and patterns and associated disorders and disease which alter them. You will practice safe and efficient hair removal techniques using soft wax procedures.

Waxing course is offered by Senniyo Aesthetics International School of Canada Inc. We provides the highest quality of training that is reflected in the method of training – low student instruction and one on one practice on models until proficiency is demonstrated.
Beauty Culture training within the Province of Alberta requires 1400 hours of instruction. Students at Est-elle Academy are given 39 weeks, or approximately nine months, to complete this training (a student could finish in as little as 37 weeks).
