Durban Language Centre is an established school based in a green suburb of Durban, South Africa. The school is only 5 minutes from the city centre and has a lovely garden, with a small coffee shop, where tea, coffee cool-drinks and snacks. All classrooms are air-conditioned.

Durban Language Centre (DLC) caters for adult learners (18+) of English from South Africa and abroad. We offer top-quality General English classes at all levels, from Beginner to Advanced level.
In addition, Durban Language Centre offers English, Zulu, Spanish, and French for those who are interested in learning these as a second language. These range from introductory courses for candidates with no teaching experience to advanced in-service training for qualified teachers who want to improve and diversify their skills. Zulu course is offered by Credit Blende Training. Our course variety grows consistently, remaining relevant for the professional environments of our learners.
The Alliance Française offers isiZulu classes in our premises in partnership with the Camoes Instituto da cooperacao.
Zulu is an official language in South Africa. It is a member of the Nguni languages and it is spoken by more than nine million people in South Africa; mainly from the Zululand. Zulu lessons are offered to corporate companies or to individuals wanting to learn isiZulu.
We focus on developing all four language skills in the lessons; Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing and strive to make our lessons interactive
