At Sit 'n Knit, our goal is not only to provide you with great yarn and knitting supplies, but also to lend the support and expertise needed to get your projects done. Through original patterns, lots of shop samples, ongoing classes and a well organized store, our knowledgeable staff hopes to inspire and assist customers of all skill levels.
I have been knitting since the age of eight and spinning since 1996. When this wonderful shop went up for sale, I was able to realize a lifelong dream to run a local yarn store. It would be my pleasure to join you on many knitting adventures!
Our Learn to Knit Class teaches the basics of knitting to get you started on your first project. The beginner knitting class will cover cast on, knit stitch, and bind off. The class fee includes one skein of yarn, a pair of needles, and a pattern.
Learn to quilt a block, a row or a bed-size quilt with quilting sewing techniques. You will learn to create perfect quilt blocks, eliminate complicated math for borders and sashing, overcome ugly quilt backs, select the best hoop for the quilt, support the weight of the quilt
At StitchSpace we allow you to schedule your classes one at a time, but we recommend students sign up for a series of 2-4 classes. In this series of courses you will learn the skills needed to make your own scarves, hats, bags and dishcloths to name a few. Knitters of all levels welcome.
Three Bags Full offers classes to promote knitting and crochet skills. We highly encourage your purchasing yarn and supplies here. We hope you will choose to support our shop.
We have scheduled time to help you with all your knitting quagmires and queries. Bring your projects with questions, dropped stitches or anything you need extra help with and our expert instructors will help you out.
