Bhanwar Rathore Design Studio is a Premier Design Institute in India. Founded in 2005 and having its Head Office in Ahmedabad at Gujarat, BRDS has grown with a distinct identity of its own. “Bhanwar Rathore Design Studio” has 13 centres in Gujarat. BRDS has emerged as best Arts, Design and Portfolio Consultancy and is guiding over 5000 students every year.

The Institute progressed with its first coaching centre in Gurukul (Ahmedabad) and now we have our 5 centres in Ahmedabad (Gurukul, Maninagar, Bopal, Satellite, chandkheda), Vadodara (Race Course Road), Rajkot (Kalawad Road) and Surat (Athwa).

BRDS is providing services to three different segments interested in Design and arts.

BRDS is offering professional design courses of Two year, One year, 6 months or 3 months in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Interior Design, Jewellery Design and Fine Arts. This section is for students from any age group such as school or college students, homemakers, working professionals who wish to explore design as their passion or as a career.

BRDS is also helping students in preparing portfolios to apply for higher education abroad such London colleges of Fashion, Domus Academy, Milan, AA- Architectural Association School of Architecture, Royal College, Pratt etc .

About Two Year Professional Courses at BRDS

BRDS has earned a reputation of being the first institute to cover the course related to fashion and interior designing extending to 3-4 years; within a span of 2 year. This is made possible through thorough practical knowledge to each and every student. The course is exclusively designed and is first of its kind across designing industry in India.

BRDS is the first institute to offer flexible timings for batches, so that students can attend their classes any time between 8 am and 8 pm for any two hours. Apart from flexible timings, it is the first institute in India, which operates on Saturdays and Sundays; that means, those on job who wish to explore designing as their passion or as a career, can join batches on Saturdays or Sundays.

Our Infrastructure

BRDS Campus : 

• BRDS head office is located at Drive-in-road, Ahmedabad Gujarat. The studio is spaced out on over 20,000 sq feet of space with lecture halls, theatre, workshops, library & computer centre and place for general activities.

Mac Lab: 

• BRDS is equipped with advance computer technology Apple (IMac). All the design portfolios whether basic or professional all are created on IMac; The computer knowledge that is essential for upcoming time is taken care of by BRDS.

Library (Resource and material centre) : 

• We have a well organized library with huge range of national and international books, magazines of designing subjects for Fashion Design, Interior Design, Fine arts, Graphic Design, Photography and Jewelry Design. Our resource centre has approximately 500 books, technical videos, and teaching materials.

JUKI Stitching Lab: 

• BRDS is equipped with industry compatible JUKI Stitching Machine Lab which the students can access and learn to produce innovative fashion garments as a part of their Pattern making and Garment Construction lessons. We also have pattern masters to guide students for the usage of these machines.

Tool Library/ Swatch Library: 

• BRDS has tool library consisting of hack saw, hand saw, drill machine, buffing machine, hammers, chisels for students to access and develop their prototypes. We also have a collection of swatches of tiles, marbles, glasses, stones, acoustic sheets which helps students to visualize their interior spaces in actual materials.

Computer Lab : 

• BRDS is equipped with advance computer technology from HP. These computers are equipped with licensed versions of all design softwares. The computer knowledge that is essential for upcoming time is taken care of by BRDS. Computer Aided Design classes are conducted in the computer lab for all design courses.

Wi-Fi Campus:

• Internet access through Wi-Fi network is available in the entire campus. Students can access our computer lab for internet facility.

Our Faculties: 

• Our expert mentors and faculty are qualified fashion designers, product designers, animators, communication designers and architecture graduates or postgraduates from prestigious institutes such as NIFT, NID, IIT and CEPT. The dedicated faculty at BRDS helps students to realize their strengths and weaknesses and chart out a path accordingly to reach their objective.

Art and Craft Workshops: 

• Every month art and craft related workshops are conducted at BRDS with a team of national and international artists and designers.

Audio Visual Hall / Theatre Hall: 

• Students can access this audio visual hall any time and can watch more than 500 educational videos and short video clips on designing subjects such as fashion, automobile, interior, architecture, drawing, art and craft, etc.

Lecture Halls: 

• BRDS conducts seminars with national and international faculties/ professionals in the field of designing. Lectures related to design and design aptitudes are regularly conducted.

Hostel Facilities: 

• BRDS provides hostel facility for outstation students. Boys and Girls are accommodated in separate hostels.
