The Advanced Mergers and Acquisitions Workshop II draws together various aspects of securities and corporate law under the broad title of “M&A” and applies that knowledge to analyzing typical problems that confront business lawyers involved in M&A transactions.
This course focuses on the theory and practice of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). It seeks to equip managers or future managers with what they need to know and the skills they need to have to be effective and successful in the M&A or investment banking world.
This externship will provide students with the opportunity to examine issues that arise in the course of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and proceed to litigation. The course will be based on a hypothetical problem drafted by the instructors but modelled on real cases and current issues in M&A.
