This accreditation provides learners with knowledge and understanding of dangers associated with asbestos. This accreditation ensures that learners who may potentially encounter asbestos during their normal work activities are suitably trained to be aware of its dangers to health and are accredited to the National Occupational Standard (NOS).
The target audience is aimed at those who may come across Asbestos or Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) during their work activities.
Accreditation
Learners that successfully complete all of the necessary units will be awarded a full accreditation certificate Asbestos Awareness.
Prerequisites
This course is available to anyone over the age of 16. There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. Centres must ensure potential learners suitability for this course and identify any specific needs/ reasonable adjustments that may be required.
We offer support, training and testing, along with NVQ Assessments, leading to recognised qualifications, throughout the UK.
