Course Overview

Our Abrasive Wheels Train the Trainer Course delivers 2 days of instruction, training and assessment. This course provides training for in-house trainers or for commercial trainers as a vital element of their skill set to enable them to provide accurate, up to date abrasive wheel training to their staff or clients. The improper use, handling and storage of Abrasive products can lead to serious and sometimes fatal accidents.

Depending on the number of employees or the demands within your organisation, it can sometimes be more cost and time effective for a manager or suitable member of staff to attend and successfully pass a 'Train the Trainer' course, in order to conduct the training themselves, rather than rely on an external training provider. This course covers both abrasive wheel theory and instructional technique theory and is facilitated by BAF (British Abrasive Federation) approved instructors.

Our Abrasive Wheel 'Train the Trainer' course is intended for those who wish to carry out in-house abrasive wheel training or are working toward qualifications as a commercial trainer for abrasive wheels on angle grinders, cut off saws, bench grinders and bench top cut off saws.

All those attending should have a working knowledge of abrasive wheels and ideally attended our BAF Abrasive Wheel - Principles Course. On this course each delegate will be required to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of abrasive wheel theory, practice and the ability to present on a chosen element of abrasive wheel theory.

The agenda of the Abrasive Wheels - Train The Trainer course includes:
