Accident Investigation is an Entry Level Skills Training course. Trainees develop the skills to effectively investigate incidents, isolate root causes and implement measures necessary to prevent similar future events.
Topics Include:
This 1-day Accident Investigation course is offered in-class. Participants learn when regulatory requirements demand an incident investigation. The course then outlines the full investigation process, from gathering info (securing the scene, reviewing evidence) to analysis (identifying contributing factors and the sequence of events) to implementing corrective measures (recommendations and reports). Trainees must then pass a written exam to obtain Accident Investigation certificate.
