We opened in the fall of 2012 to become the third Dance Plus location. Every child should look back on their dance experience with wonderful memories. We are happy to offer the community the opportunity to take part in the Canadian Dance Teachers Association exam program under the certified instruction of owner Amy Croteau.
Dancers are challenged by combining acrobatics skills with dance steps. We blend tricks, balance, flexibility, tumbling and dance technique. Most importantly, it is all done in a fun and artistic way. We recommend dancers take jazz or have jazz experience.
The future trend of dance… this style focuses on flexibility, strength, control & agility - enhancing dancers' overall performance in any genre. Dancers will learn "tricks" such as Aerial's, Handstands, front walk overs, and many other gymnastic style moves.
A combination of dance and gymnastics that emphasizes balances, tumbling and aerial tricks while developing strength and flexibility. Each class at HYPE DANZ begins with a warmup to prepare the body for movement and help prevent injuries. Â
In this class, dancers will learn how to safely perform acrobatic movements.
It often includes working with a partner and using balance and agility skills to work together and achieve a common goal. Acro students will experience the joy of accomplishing hard earned personal goals with the techniques learned in class. Tumbling classes are offered to more advanced students.
