The Dream Academy of Dancing was established in 1993 and we have just celebrated our 24th year.
Our classes are based in Thurnby Lodge, Leicester and we offer classes in singing and dancing for students aged 3 years and upwards.
The students work on performance pieces for our annual show and many competitions and exams held throughout the year.
The aim of the school is to have fun, stay fit, make new friendships, build confidence and self-esteem, improve posture, co-ordination, creativity and musicality in a fun and friendly environment.
The school undertakes I.D.T.A Exams, shows and also competition work 2 - 3 times a year, with many medals and trophies awarded to the students.
In addition, the students are regularly offered exciting opportunities to perform in the West End where our students last performed in October 2012 and December 2015.
Acro Dance (13yrs +) classes are offered by Dance For All. All classes at Dance For All are a great way to exercise and provide a progressive learning experience, allowing you to hone your dancing skills while building a more flexible and supple body.
Beginners Acro are offered by SD Studios. Founded by professional performer Sarah Smith, SD Studios aim to give students the highest possible level of performing arts training to create well rounded, "triple threat" performers.
Using the Acrobatic Arts syllabus your child will learn the skills of how to perform ‘Acrobatics’ in a safe environment combined with artistic motion of dance. This class includes exercises to improve flexibility, core strength and how to ‘Flip’ from one side of the room to the other.
Junior Acrobatic Arts classes are offered by Kt School Of Dance. The syllabus provides a professional class structure and sound knowledge of the correct dance technique, developing co-ordination and performance skills.
Acro Dance course is offered by London Dance Academy. Our studio classes offer a rich way of learning, where you can learn skills from our world-class teachers face-to-face. We offer classes for all skill levels from complete beginners to professional artists.
