Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy (RQF)

Course details

The Active IQ Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy is at level 3 on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). You'll learn from a member of the Academy of Performance Coaching team in our practical skills labs, located on the Lansdowne Campus.

You'll have the opportunity to practice on others, and should be prepared for other students on this course to practice on you.

This course will include the following units:

• Unit 1 – Anatomy and Physiology for Sports Massage

• Unit 2 – Principles of Health and Fitness

• Unit 3 – Understand the Principles of Soft Tissue Dysfunction

• Unit 4 – Professional Practice in Sports Massage

• Unit 5 – Sports Massage Treatments.

Note: You must pass all five units to achieve the full qualification. Assessments will take place throughout the course.
