Aerial Yoga for Children at Floating Fitness is the only place in South East London that offers a great and unique opportunity for children to build strength, flexibility, coordination, stamina and fitness in a fun and inspiring environment of flying hammocks.
Aerial Yoga for Children classes have a special syllabus designed by the instructor for youth participants:
introduction to breathing, relaxation and mindfulness techniques;
moves and positions (asanas) of traditional yoga on the ground and in the mid-air hanging hammocks;
beginner tricks of acrobatics – including basic inversions, flips and spins.
We offer professional space and height for Pole Dance Fitness and Aerial Yoga training and the highest security in assembly of equipment. We highly believe that aerial and pole training should always be conducted in a well-ventilated and uncluttered space. We also have wall to wall mirrors at our venue that help to improve your pole skills.
Safe Curriculum
Our curriculum helps you to gradually build up muscles to prepare for more and more advanced pole dancing tricks, hence we offer a level structure (beginner, intermediate, advanced, professional) of pole learning.
Efficient Learning Adapted To You
Within the framework of the safe curriculum everyone can progress in her/his own rhythm. We will always encourage you to perform close to your limits, however, if your body is not prepared for a particular move yet, we won’t push you there.
Instead we help you to get there without injuries and or any disappointment. We believe, that anything can be achieved, if you respect and follow the timing that your body offers.
This class builds on the ‘Aerial Beginners Start Up 4 Week Course’ learning some new skills as well as consolidating skills learned as a new beginner.
Inexperienced flyers must attend the beginner's course first as we don't want you to land on your head.
This class will allow you to fully immerse yourself into the experience and leave you relaxed and rejuvenated with asanas and movements most suited for beginners.
By taking your yoga routine off the ground, you will stimulate your mind, body and spirit, by exploring the evolution of yoga into 3-dimensional space.
