Your School of Beauty Culture, then known as Mildred's Beauty College, originated on the West Side of Chicago, IL on June 1st, 1966.
Mildred's Beauty College operated successfully from 1966 - 1979 until the founder, Dr. Mildred Dixon, fell ill. After graduating more than 1,200 cosmetologists.
In 1980, Dr. Dixon decided to temporarily close her business to get her health in order. In 1988, due to the overwhelming request from former students, clients, and aspiring stylists Dr. Dixon re-opened her school and in honor of the community.
And their support she renamed it "Your School of Beauty Culture". In 1997, Your School of Beauty Culture moved to its present location in the Chicago's historic Bronzeville community and continues to add to its success.
Earn an in-depth education in the field of Esthetics with our 750-hour course and go on to employment in exciting fields such as skin care, make-up artistry, and product demonstration.
The GLOW UP is real. As a licensed esthetician, you will help others get that "GLOW" by improving the look, feel, and overall healthiness of their skin.
Our Esthiology program prepares you for a future as a skin care specialist. The training utilizes our trademark AVEDA pure flower and plant essences and wellness rituals. Every graduate will be trained in facials, waxing, makeup application, business development, wellness and retail knowledge.
This course covers the overall subject of skincare, hair removal, make-up, and eyelash application.
The Esthetician (Skin Care) Program offers training infacials, body treatments, waxing, microdermabrasion, high frequency and galvanic machines, Eye Lash Extension and Eyebrow Lamination.
