n our Afternoon Tea course you will spend the day with our patisserie expert who will guide you through some of Hobbs House Bakery's very favourite afternoon tea recipes.
We'll be bringing back the fondant fancy; a deliciously light sponge with a flavoured buttercream, covered in fondant. Choux buns filled with creme patisserie as well as crumpets using our 64-year-old sourdough, to name a few. We like to keep with the seasons so there may be some variation depending on the time of year.
You’ll learn how to decorate your creations with individual style and you’ll finish the day with a high tea in our dining room along with finger sandwiches, a taste of your day's work, and a glass of prosecco.
This course will build on basic skills, advance your knowledge, and expand your baking repertoire. There will also be plenty to take home and share with your family and friends.
