Allergen Awareness training course

The incident of allergies and allergic reactions have been increasing in the UK. Allergies can cause severe life threatening allergic reactions called Anaphylaxis. It is estimated that 21 million people in the UK suffer from at least one type of allergy. Up to 8% of children and 2% of adults are diagnosed with a food allergy.

Although there are no cures for food allergies, having the information about the allergen contents in the food prior to ordering and eating food can help us make correct and potentially life saving decisions about what to order and what to eat.
