Signing Naturally
The Signing Naturally series is recognized as the curriculum for serious students wishing to learn ASL and is the first step toward becoming a sign language interpreter in Alberta. But you don’t have to be too serious to take an ASL course! Deaf & Hear Alberta is the premier provider of this full immersion (no voice) course for anyone who wants to learn. Participants are able to progress in their learning through sequential levels of difficulty.
This course will teach both ASL and Deaf culture to help you better understand the communication needs of the Deaf community.
In our ASL classes, workshops ,and 1 on 1 sessions we use the Signing Naturally curriculum that was originally developed at a California College.
At Kids & Company, we encourage parents and guardians to reinforce signs at home
ASL Classes provide a structured environment for students to learn ASL from professional ASL Instructors.
This is an introductory class with a focus on signing the alphabet, numbers, commonly used pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs and simple phrase of two or three words
