This course will give a deep grounding in the methods and principles of traditional animation. Throughout this class you will view short films, experiment with a variety of materials, participate in group discussions, and create a number of short films of your own devising.
A study in the basic principles of animation and in bringing a character to life through the mechanics of motion. Areas of focus include squash and stretch, overlapping action, volume consistency, rhythms, lines of action and timing with a strong emphasis on basic drawing.
Bring your story to life by making stop motion animated movies! Working in teams, students build sets and characters using materials such as LEGO® bricks, white boards, and origami, then write, direct, and edit a unique story to share with the world!
This program can do many of the same things as Photoshop, the industry standard program used by many professionals. Clip Studio has a lot of fantastic tools aimed directly at comic book and manga artists, and is a fantastic alternative for artists on a budget.
