Arabic (Level 1)

Arabic language is unique and it comprised of different varieties. This is commonly classified as one language. Arabic is one of the six most spoken language in world.

They are approximately 400 million speakers. If they consider set of different languages, Egyptian Arabic is widely spoken variety of Arabic. Classical Arabic comes from events in Quran, holy book of Islamic faith.

These events have been occurred around 7th century C.E. Quran has served as foundation of Arabic language to this day. Modern standard Arabic is identical to the classical and formal Arabic form of Quran.  

There is addition of modern words and differences in grammar instructions. They are being taught in schools and colleges, workplace and in media.

Words from the Arabic language is being adopted from other language including Hebrew, Persian, Greek, English and French. This has also influenced other language like Turkish, Hindi, Bengali, Indonesian.

Arabic is written from right to left. There are 18 distinct letter shapes which are depended on another letter. There are no capital letters in Arabic language. Arabic language is ranked top six of world major languages.

It is widely used throughout the Muslim world. It belongs to Semitic group of languages which includes Hebrew and main language of Ethiopia.

About The Course

There are six levels to be complete for gaining a strong command over the specific language. The Modules are as follows:

Basic Level

• A1– This is beginner level of Arabic. Post this level, one is able to understand and use common phrases and topics of everyday conversation used in Arabic language.

• A2– After clearing the basic level, one is able to conversant with local public on familiar and routine matters.

Intermediate Level

• B1 –This is intermediate Arabic level, where one  will learn practical application of Arabic language in professional life. One can know how to clearly express the opinions in Arabic language. One gets to  know the cultural diversity of Arabic speaking countries and more.

• B2 – Applicant is trained and encouraged to acquire the linguistic skills which is relevant to the area of specialisation. One should acquire fluency and spontaneity while expressing the viewpoint in Arabic. This is upper intermediate level and paramount levels of Arabic language.

Advance Level

• C1 – This level mark the mastery level on the proficiency level of Arabic language. Our trainers are well acquainted to help you to complete this complex level and attain proficiency and excellent skills in communication levels in Arabic.

• C2– This level is near native advanced Arabic level. This is highest level where one attains the route to mastering in Arabic language. This level reveals candidate expertise in Arabic language.

These six modules are ranging from basic level till end. This leads to gain a strong command over the language (intermediates level ). This helps an individual to complete professional course of specific language.

Exam and Certification:

There is a separate exam for all the levels. Students, according to their skills can appear for any level examination to have a recognized certificate. An external student, who wanted to join in between, can give the previous level exams at the time of joining and after clearing that can be a part of signified Level.

The Certificate will be provided after completion of course. We will provide the certificate which will be valid all over India. For International certificate, student should appear for the exam and collect the certificate from the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

About ALPT Examination

• Arabic Langauge Proficiency Test (ALPT) is the global standard for measuring student proficiency level in Arabic. There are five fundamental skillsthat are measured on the exam: Listenng comprehension, Reading, Structure, Writing, and Speaking.

• The Arabic Language Proficiency Test (ALPT) is endorsed by the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI). There are 56 member countries under ICCI that include all 22 Arab countries as well as 34 countries in Africa and Asia. ALPT is further endorsed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Indonesia (MORA) which has signed a cooperation agreement with the Arab Academy that relates to the utilization of ALPT at universities, institutes and schools.

• The ALPT exam is taken on a computer in the presence of a registered instructor with the speaking section being undertaken via Skype. The test varies in length depending on how many questions it takes to accurately gauge your proficiency. It starts with easy questions and gradually increases in complexity. The higher the student’s level, the longer the test.

Structure of the Exam

The Arabic Language Proficiency test is structured in a computer adaptive format. It consists of five sections: listening, reading, grammar, writing and speaking.

The first three parts of the Arabic proficiency test are in multiple-choice format, the fourth part is an open ended question and the fifth part is conducted by an Arabic teacher.

Each part assesses a different language skill. The test varies in length depending on how many questions it takes to accurately gauge student proficiency.
