Why Use Us?
It’s quite simple, we are all aware we are facing the worst workforce crisis in the history of the National Health Service with a current shortage of 9,000 hospital doctors and 47,000 nurses.
By trusting us to deliver your training, we will reinvest all our revenue back into the NHS to create more job roles, provide more medicine, research and most importantly make patients better and cut down on the long lengthy waiting lists. Help us to help the NHS!
There will be times and situations, for example when giving or receiving feedback, or when handling a difficult person, when you need to influence, motivate and persuade others.
At some time or other most of us give in to people in authority or to those who are dominant or difficult. It stops us achieving our own goals and can leave us feeling inadequate, stressed and angry.
•Understand the meaning of aggressive, assertive and passive behaviour • Learn a range of assertiveness techniques • Know how to use assertiveness to help a situation. This course is delivered in Partnership with Mind Aberystwyth.
This course always makes a huge difference to delegates by giving them clear techniques which they practice using in the training sessions. Encouragement, support and self-belief are imparted and a clear change in confidence is guaranteed.
This course is suitable for anybody who finds it difficult to express what they feel or what they want in a suitable way. This can be useful in work situations, relationships, making complaints asking for what you want, hearing what others want.
