About Us
Who Are We?
The Well Counselling is a team of qualified and trainee counsellors, providing support for clients of all ages and backgrounds. Founded in 1993, we are part of the Lyttleton Well.
We believe in supporting the emotional, mental and spiritual well-being of our clients and work with anyone over 18, regardless of financial status, gender, religion, sexual orientation, race, colour or ethnic origin.
All of our counsellors, supervisors and students are bound by the BACP’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and all belong to professional counselling bodies.
We do not offer Christian Counselling at the Well, but we are a Christian Organisation, with a Christian ethos, supported by Malvern churches together.
Clients come recommended to us by their GPs, as well as word of mouth recommendations from previous clients, friends and family. Many our clients find us online, via our website.
We are proud to have won the Improving Lives Award at the Pride of Malvern Hills Community Awards 2020.
This course aims to give delegates an understanding of the tools and techniques behind staying consistently assertive and recognising passive and aggressive behaviour.
This course differs from commercially available courses in that it addresses assertiveness skills in the context of schools, colleges and trade unions.
This course will explore what assertion is and how it can be applied. Assertion is often assumed to be a negative and perhaps even aggressive technique associated with those who shout louder than the rest. In reality, assertion when done correctly does not fall on the passive-aggressive spectrum at
This course will help you feel more confident in how your handle your colleagues, your manager and your customers
Assertiveness does not come naturally to all because we have all learned passive behaviours to stave off confrontational situations.
