Aviation first aid gives aircrew a thorough understanding of all regulated first aid procedures as well as the necessary hands on practical skills, to enable aircrew to confidently administer all first aid practices and increase the casualties chance of survival until such time medical professionals can reach the aircraft.
Our initial course is 1 day and gives in-depth knowledge and practical skills on common medical conditions, signs and symptoms and first aid treatment and covers all of EASA requirements and follows the European Resuscitation Council guidelines. This course is suitable for those who are starting their careers in aviation and have not completed first aid training previously.
Our recurrent course is 4.5hrs and gives aircrew a thorough overview of all common medical conditions, signs and symptoms and treatment and the chance to practice all practical first aid skills.
This course is also suitable for those requiring initial first aid that have attended a first aid course within 5 years. This course is compliant with EASA, CAA and follows the European Resuscitation Council guidelines.
