You may wish to earn money by teaching your hobby, skill or trade to others. This course will provide you with the practice and the confidence to do so.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for the course. You need competent English communication skills to complete written assignments and deliver your micro-teach. You will need sufficient digital skills to manage your online portfolio. Within the profession, you need maths and English skills at Level 2 (GCSE grade 4), and we will advise you on further study, if you identify this an area for development.

Our BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport provides students with the skills, knowledge, learning and experience to gain industry, recognised qualifications in the sport industry with opportunities to represent Nottingham Forest in the Community & Education Football Alliance.
This qualification enables learners to develop knowledge and understanding of child development, education and care, which will allow them to progress to study in further education or higher education, or join the workplace as an apprentice.
This course is aimed at students who wish to progress to university to study Sport, PE Teaching, Sports Therapy or Sports Coaching, or alternatively go into employment. This course is 80% theory and includes 20% practical.
