This is a 4-year undergraduate govt. Degree program in interior design. Interior design is “the art or process of designing the interior, often including the exterior, of a room or building. In today’s world all hotels, airports, houses, resorts, offices,  ospitals, malls, etc. Require interior designing. 

An interior designer is someone who coordinates and manages such projects. Interior design is a multifaceted profession that includes conceptual development, communicating with the stakeholders of a project and the management and execution of the design.

A very good interior designer is also an artist, furniture designer & product designer. At Artemisia College we make sure you gain all the knowledge and skills to reach that level.

Contrary to popular belief, interior design is more than just decorating, although that is a part of it. In fact, designing the interior of a building begins well before it is even built. Interior design is more than just aesthetics. It’s about finding creative design solutions for interior environments while supporting the health, safety and well-being of occupants and enhancing their quality of life.

Following a systematic and coordinated methodology including research, analysis and integration of knowledge into the creative process, interior design is a multi-faceted profession whereby the needs and resources of the client are satisfied to create an interior space that fulfils the project goals.

B.Design in Interior Design is a 4 year undergraduate degree program. Interior design has changed dramatically since the early 20th century when it was just beginning to emerge as a profession. Today, interior designers work with contractors, architects, engineers, craftsmen, furniture dealers, and business and home owners. 

To become a successful interior designer, you need a well-rounded education and the skills to work within many disciplines (architecture, graphic design, fine arts, textile, furniture and lighting design).
