(Animation & Multimedia) programme is a full-time course spanning over 3 years, that includes semester one of GraphicDesigning, Designing & Computer Fundamentals and Sketching, semesters two of Fundamentals of Digital Animation and Audio-Video Editingby industry experts, semester threeof 3D Fundamental, semester four of 3D design and Digital Compositing, fifth semester of advance 3D and last semester of portfolio and project submission.
The student who wants to work in the animation and multimedia industry the course is specially designed for them. We specifically focused at providing deep knowledge of animation, design and compositing and subsequent application to 3D modelling, animation, rigging, texture and lighting, visual effects and more. The practical training provided under this program mirrors the work in professional animation and visual effects houses and is delivered in state-of-the-art laboratories with a one-to-one student-to-machine ratio.
The training modules include comprehensive knowledge of global industry-standard animation and visual effects software applications, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, Autodesk Maya, 3DS Max, Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Programme Out-Comes & Scope
PSO 1: -B.Sc. (Graphics & Sketching) :- Students will gain knowledge to become an expert in specific domain of Graphics and Sketching and will work in Films, Games and other industries related to Designing & Sketching.
PSO 2: - B.Sc. (Animation & Film Editing) :- Students will be helped to become an expert in the specific domain of animation & Film Editing and will be able to work in Films, Games and all other related industries.
PSO 3: - B.Sc. (3D & Digital Compositing) :- Students will be enhancing their knowledge in the field of 3D Production and Digital Composition which will help them to achieve expertise in the specific domain of VFX & 3D Production.
The course provides Degree in B.Sc. Animation & Multimedia under the affiliation of Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University. The course includes 3 years degree programme divided in to six semesters.
Department vision is to emerge as a Centre of excellence for imparting quality education to produce highly trained Professionals and entrepreneurs in Animation, VFX and 3D
