Parentwood Baby and Family Wellness Centre is situated against the beautiful background of Rietondale Park. We offer comprehensive care to families from the time that they fall pregnant through their children’s early childhood years.
Parentwood was started in 2013 by registered nurse and clinic sister Kristel Steyn-Battheu. The practice was started as a second branch of Netcare Femina Hospital’s Stork’s Nest Clinic.
The birth of Parentwood provided us with the much-needed space to assist more mothers with their well-baby visits, and to host our support groups, courses and workshops.
This programme educates the parent regarding the importance of their role in guiding their child to adulthood and that the manner, or style in which they parent holds the key to the healthy development of their child, this includes learning and behaviour.
Parenting is offered by Bumps & Bundles Of Joy. as a mother and baby centre based in Fourways, Johannesburg. We focus on educating parents-to-be on healthy pregnancy including; nurturing of your unborn child, the various aspects of childbirth, post birth and coach you on becoming new parents.
Parenting is offered by M And T Group. Age appropriate play activity programme developed by an Occupational therapist and Physiotherapist for babies in their first year to enhance development and strengthen the bond between mother and baby.
