We’re taking it from the top! This program will give you the Bachata fundamentals you need to enjoy yourself on the dance floor. Over a period of 8 weeks we will cover the most important concepts and staples of Bachata dancing.
Leads will be introduced to proper leading technique and Follows will work to understand body movement and following principles. We review in class and build on the knowledge learned in previous classes in this progressive series. Class is small so that the teacher can dance with every student and provide one on one feedback.

Bachata for kids (Ages 6 & up) classes are offered by Nieves Latin Dance Studio. All Children are required to wear their uniforms to class.
Bachata Dance Classes are offfered by Salsa Salsa Dance Studio for beginners of all ages. Students come from all boroughs to learn to dance, hone their technique, and meet new people in a fun and friendly setting.
Spot Dance. Club Latin. Popular at Salsa and Latin Nightclubs, Bachata has a side to side basic movement and a hip motion or foot tap on every fourth count of music. The music is slower than salsa music and faster than Rumba. From the Dominican Republic. Count: 1 2 3 4 (accent on 4)
